Hi my name is Kevin McClellan. With nearly 20 years of WordPress experience and over a decade specializing in OptimizePress, I have helped hundreds of business owners build, optimize, and manage their websites. I have also been creating and coding websites for more than 25 years, so I know what works and what doesn’t.

How long have you been helping others with OP?
I've been using OptimizePress since 2011 and started helping others with it in 2012. Since 2013, I’ve provided training and services to hundreds of clients, helping them achieve their goals with OptimizePress.
Along the way, I’ve also gained extensive experience with third-party plugins and tools that integrate well with OptimizePress.
Where are you based at?
I’m located in Tennessee, just north of Huntsville, Alabama, in the historic town of Fayetteville. We enjoy the peace of small-town life, while still being close enough to Huntsville to benefit from excellent internet connectivity and quick access to city amenities.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payments through Stripe directly on this site. If you’d prefer PayPal, cash, check, or another method, just let me know and I’ll work with you to make it possible.
Do you offer web hosting?
No, I don’t currently provide hosting services. However, I recommend KnownHost, which is where I host this website. They provide excellent support and performance for WordPress sites.
Can you help with other technical stuff?
Yes, it never hurts to ask. I have extensive experience with hosting and server management (WHM, cPanel, FTP), site migrations, backups, plugin troubleshooting, membership sites, and more. If it’s related to WordPress or your hosting setup, there’s a good chance I can help.
Why should I work with you instead of a larger agency?
Working with me means you get direct, personalized support from someone with over 20 years of WordPress experience and more than a decade working specifically with OptimizePress. Unlike agencies where you might get passed around, I handle your project personally so nothing gets lost in translation, and you always know who you’re working with.
Do you only help with big projects, or small tasks too?
Both! Whether you need a quick fix, a small tweak, or a complete site build, I’m happy to help. Many clients start with small tasks and later return for larger projects once they’ve experienced how I work.
What type of services do you provide?
I offer support for WordPress, OptimizePress, and related plugins, as well as hosting-related services. This includes site migrations, backups, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and more. Can you be my "Tech Guy"?

Are you an Agency or Freelancer?
I like to call myself a solopreneur, someone who manages all aspects of the business myself. While I occasionally collaborate with other professionals on larger projects, I typically work directly with clients one-on-one.
Do I have to have my own OptimizePress Account?
Yes, you’ll need your own OptimizePress license for existing sites. In some cases, I offer site builds that include OptimizePress as long as you remain on an ongoing service plan with me, but I don’t provide OptimizePress for free or at discounted rates.
Whether you use your own license or one included in a service plan, pricing for site builds remains the same. If you’re unsure which option is best, reach out and I’ll be happy to discuss.
How soon can you start?
That depends on my current workload. I keep space in my schedule for urgent issues, but larger projects are usually scheduled in advance. For full site builds, I can typically begin within 2–4 weeks once I have all required materials (content, graphics, logins, etc.). Completion time is usually 30–60 days, depending on complexity. For smaller tasks (under 2 hours), I aim to complete them within 1–3 business days.
Can you train me on how to use OptimizePress?
Yes. If you’d like to learn as we go, I offer live screen-share training sessions where I walk you through OptimizePress and WordPress step by step. This way you not only get your project completed but also gain the skills to manage it yourself in the future.
Do you provide ongoing support after a project is finished?
Yes, I offer ongoing care plans and support options if you’d like me to continue helping after your project is complete.
This can include updates, backups, security scans, troubleshooting, speed optimization, or just having me on hand when you need technical help.
